In his article "A Taste of Taiwan: How Taiwan’s Culinary Heritage is Narrated for an International Audience" Mr. Mandl addresses the gastrodiplomacy of Taiwan as served by its de-facto embassies in Berlin, Bern, and Vienna. The corresponding peer-reviewed article is due for publication in ASIEN - The German Journal of Contemporary Asia later this year.
