Upcoming events of EcoS' lecturers

We would like to share with you the invitation to two upcoming events that include the participation of our lecturer, Dr. Alfred Gerstl, which will take place on March 2 and 3, 2021 [virtual].

  • On 2 March, 8:30–10:00 EcoS lecturer, Dr. Alfred Gerstl will present on “COVID-19 and Vaccine Diplomacy”. The presentation is part of the panel “COVID-19 and the Future of Diplomacy”. It will conclude the RSIS Webinar Series on Post-Pandemic Multilateralism and Diplomacy, organized by the Centre for Multilateralism Studies at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.   • On 3 March, 16:00–17:00 an “AIES Talk” on “Myanmar: Crisis and Perspectives” will be live streamed on YouTube. EcoS Lecturer, Dr. Alfred Gerstl, and Dr. Kristina Kironska (Palacký University Olomouc) will discuss together with Dr. Werner Fasslabend (Austrian Institute for European and Security Policy) the democratization process and the recent coup in Myanmar as well as regional responses to the crisis. Important notification for Students attending the UE Exercise Course on Political Systems: This public event forms a part of the first unit of the course.
