From 2008 to 2010 he was Minister for Education, Science and Technology. Under a clear vision to enhance the autonomy and creativity of schools, Dr. Ahn is making various policy endeavors to strengthen educational excellence.The introduction was held by Prof. Georg Winckler, Rector of the University of Vienna, and Rudiger Frank, Professor of East Asian Economy and Society and Vice Head of the Department of East Asian Studies.
