[Project] EUVIP & EUSEAR

06.05.2025

EcoS Lecturer Alfred Gerstl presents two EU-funded projects with support from EcoS students.

EcoS lecturer Alfred Gerstl is currently head of two EU-funded projects:

The EU in the volatile Indo-Pacific region (EUVIP - https://www.euvip-project.com) and

European-Southeast Asian relations: their current state and future outlook (EUSEAR - https://ceias.eu/european-southeast-asian-relations-their-current-state-and-future-prospect-eusear/).

He would like to thank a highly motivated group of EcoS students whose research is making an important contribution to the newly launched tracker on European-Southeast Asian relations.

The Tracker is an important research tool, providing regular updates about the political, economic, security, technological, civil society and not least the academic relations between the EU, Austria, Czechia, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and its ten member countries (https://euseartracker.ceias.eu/tracker).

Working on the Tracker and related project tasks is also an excellent opportunity for the EcoS students to gain valuable insights into academic research.
