Another Successful Strategic Gaming Session at EcoS

On 19 and 20 January 2019, the “Strategic Game: North Korea” took place at the Department of East Asian Studies. 45 students represented ASEAN as mediator as well as the countries North Korea, South Korea, USA, China, Russia and Japan.

In their very realistic bilateral and multilateral negotiations, they managed to resolve many existing problems. Thereby, the students demonstrated both their sound knowledge about international relations in East Asia as well as their creativity in negotiations.

The EcoS lecturers Alfred Gerstl and Falko Loher are looking forward to the next Strategic Game in the summer term, dealing with the territorial disputes in the South China Sea.
