The contributions in this volume, edited by Martin Mandl and Florian Purkarthofer, take you on a tour of East Asia’s past, presence, and by means of a computer game even fast forward to the year 11945. The articles and research notes are published in English, underlining the internationality of Vienna’s East Asian studies and their audiences.
All articles are available online with open access. Just go to the link and search with the word "Asien". ASIEN Vol. 158/159 (2021) is also available in print at the East Asian Studies Library and later this year through the journal's website and XAsia-page.
